American actress Maggie Gyllenhaal has been announced as the ambassador for privacy and security at the American Civil Liberties Union, where she'll support the organisation to 'rein in' the government's surveillance practices.
Gyllenhaal joins the roster of ambassadors including Michael Kenneth Williams, Demián Bichir and Harry Belafonte.
